Versions For Testing
Bear Blocks » Devlog
I've added two versions of the game to test. I had to create more projects to do this, so below are the links and instructions for playing and giving useful feedback.
Notes on the builds:
- Play the two versions in whichever order you like
- Please excuse messy UI
- Follow instructions in the tutorial
- Level number is written in the text - when you get to the end it will just loop back around
- Feel free to use the Skip Level button if you get stuck
Version A

Notes:
- The coloured square above the main grid shows you what colour you need to match the grid to
Version B

Notes:
- The early levels are clones of those in Version A
- Some levels will show a single colour above the grid, which you need to match. Some levels will show a multicoloured target to match to.
Questions
- Which version did you play first?
- Did matching colours on the linear scale (version A) feel more or less intuitive than the RYB colours (version B)? Which was more challenging?
- Did you have a preference between trying to make the grid all one colour vs starting with one colour and trying to match the visual? Was one harder to understand the steps towards reaching the goal than the other?
- Did you feel the bears themed added or detracted from the experience?
